Mi primer proyecto de fotografía consistió en retratar vendedores y extraños, intercambiando retratos por helado—lo que me llevó a comer una cantidad casi inhumana.
Todas las fotos fueron tomadas usando formato medio en Viejo San Juan, y representan la primera vez que me aventuré a retratar a otros, marcando el inicio de mi interés por capturar la vida de quienes me rodean.

My first photography project consisted of photographing vendors and strangers, exchanging portraits for ice cream—which led me to eat an almost inhuman amount.
All the photographs were taken in Viejo San Juan on medium format and represent the first time I ventured into photographing others, marking the beginning of my interest in capturing the lives of those around me.
