Armando Román Crespo ‘Armando Dardo Flamante’ is a young musician, artist and cultural manager. His curiosity and good ear have led him to develop a great sensibility for music of all genres. His studies in Film Theory have been key in the development of audiovisual projects like BOSQUE and his short form documentary “Los Sonidos del Estuario”.
The Abstract images and close-ups of Les Mysteres du Chateauby Man Ray, and the photography, illumination and montage of Du côté de la côte by Agnes Varda were big inspirations. We wanted the film to follow Armando as the protagonist going through a series of rustic tasks. We wanted to tie in different themes juxtaposing sound and image to create a sense of poetry exploring the existence of things such as a rock and comparing it to artistic creation.
